How can the librarians help professors with research instruction and/or information literacy for their classes?

Librarians can:

  1. Meet with your class and provide classroom instruction based on the research needs of a specific course.
  2. Create a library research guide (LibGuide) based on the required research needs for the class that can be linked from the course Blackboard page. Browse the current LibGuides sorted by subject, course, and topic. You can also find the list from the library's homepage under Research Help.
  3. Provide specific videos created by the Beam librarians to address research and information literacy instruction. To view videos the Beam Library has already created that you are welcome to use click HERE.

Please contact the Beam Library's Theological and Instruction Librarian, Chris Rosser (chris.rosser@oc.edu)  to schedule a class session or for information on creation of a LibGuide or videos.
