What are periodicals and where can I find them?

Periodicals are publications that are published on a periodic basis such as journals, magazines, and newspapers. The library has access to periodicals in several formats including online, print, and microform. Use the library catalog and search by the title of the periodical to determine if the library has it, what format it is, and what years and volumes are available.

Print and microform periodicals are located on the 3rd floor. The print periodicals are on the shelves in alphabetical order by title, while periodicals in microfiche or microfilm are in special cabinets in alphabetical order by title.

Periodicals cannot be checked out and must be used in the library. Copiers and microform printers are available for copying print and microform periodicals.
